XOVA FILM is a Prague-based company producing audiovisual works with authentic creative vision. Established by Marek Novák in 2014, Xova Film started with documentaries (CIRCUS RWANDA by Michal Varga), experimental films (VIENNA CALLING, MORAVIA, O FAIR LAND III. by Petr Šprincl), turning to fiction features, such as Venice-awarded ORDINARY FAILURES by Cristina Groșan or AFTER PARTY by Vojtěch Strakatý, selected for the Orizzonti Extra section of the 81st Venice International Film Festival in 2024.

Operated by producer Marek Novák, Xova Film focuses on projects of upcoming talents, fiction and documentary. Marek graduated law and later Prague’s FAMU, where he now teaches 1st year production students. He further honed his skills at EAVE Producers Workshop 2019, Berlinale Talents and Emerging Producers 2020. Marek was also part of the Producers on the Move Cannes 2021 programme. Marek is a member of European Film Academy, the Czech Audiovisual Producers
Association and its Ethical Committee.
